A regular on stage for the likes of actor-musician Farhan Akhtar, vocalist Shannon Donald deliberated for a few years about releasing her own material, but now we have ‘Happy Place’. The moody pop track, produced by Gulraj Singh, points to Donald’s obvious influence from the likes of Michael Jackson but also evocative and modern soul-pop. She says about the track, “In a dark time for the world, there’s always a place within us that we need to keep safe, sacred and protected. It’s like a reminder to ourselves, keep the things you love close to you or you could lose them.”
