Sushant Singh Rajput was in talks for a film just a day before his tragic demise. During the ongoing investigations into his death, Uday Singh Gauri from a Mumbai-based talent management agency revealed that the actor was approached to star in a film based on the decreased terrorist, Ajmal Kasab who was involved in the Mumbai 26/11 terror attacks. The said discussion took place on June 13 over the phone, just a day before he was found dead in his Bandra apartment. This is said to be confirmed as the late actor’s call records indicated that Gauri reached out to him before his death. Sadly, before they could meet for more discussions, SSR passed away on June 14.
Imran Khan has reportedly quit acting and his father-in-law Ranjev Malik did not seem to contradict any of the details. Talking to Etimes, he said, “Honestly, it’s Imran’s personal decision and it’s not my domain either. But yes, Imran was always inclined towards direction right from the days he went to a film school.” Malik also went on to add, “he’s working on it and will make it happen.”
