Mumbai-based singer-songwriter Alisha Batth returns with her guitar-centric sound on ‘Blue River’, a song that continues her distinctive sparse yet vulnerable style. Batth describes it as “a song of liberation and introspective joy.” She adds, “Inspired by a visualisation of an energetic stream of calm, it speaks of the process of letting go while allowing our truths to prevail.” Produced by Zain Calcuttawala at Island City Studios, Batth moves between stillness and action both visually and sonically with ‘Blue River’.
