When Krutarth was 12 years old and he started playing tabla. It was classical in the beginning. As his interest regarding this instrument cultivated and stared to merge his creativity with other genres of Music. It includes all the Bollywood and Hollywood songs.
one day someone suggested him to perform on top charts of world’s popular songs & then did my first song Lean on by Major Lazor. And this is how his YouTube channel TABLA 256 started.

Krutarth Shitut popularly known as “Tabla 256” by his stage name is a part-time percussionist from Gujarat, India. He by profession is a Mechanical Engineer and follows music as a strong passion. He started learning Tabla when he was just 9 years old. It was just a hobby till 14 years and after that he took Tabla on a serious note. Completing his Visharad (Degree in Tabla) was the first major step in live events. He was a part of World Culture Festival in 2016 led by Shri Ravishankar which recorded biggest stage event in Guinness Book. He mainly is a classical performer and has won many competitions. Apart from this, during his bachelors in engineering, he represented his University (Gujarat Technological University)in the AIU’s (Association Of Indian Universites) in 2018 which was held in Pune.
Playing classical was very interesting but he always wanted to cease the borders between Tabla and several other genres of Music. His YouTube journey was interesting where one his cover gained over million views and was even featured as a trending video over entire nation. He just has a dream to add these exotic Indian beats to top charts of world music. He does a lot of collaboration and even creates his won music. Do support his dream and follow his music.
